Be Healthy Utah 2026 Recap: Vital Health, 150+ Vendors, and a Talk on Raising Healthy Children

Utah's largest health expo returned on April 17–18, 2026, at the Mountain America Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah. For me, it was a return trip to the Beehive State — this time to support Be Wellthy Club Member Scott S., who registered as a vendor and delivered a talk at the event.

The Expo

Over 150 vendors filled the expo hall, covering the full spectrum of natural health: functional nutrition, energy medicine, bodywork, clean beauty, alternative therapies, and more. The range and density of health-conscious vendors in one room is exactly what makes this kind of event valuable — you can discover something in a 30-minute walk that would have taken months of research to find on your own.

Highlights from the floor included a live demonstration by a stretchologist showing how targeted assisted stretching helps the body move better, vendors showcasing beef tallow as a clean skincare alternative to synthetic products, and food vendors serving up genuinely nourishing options — including a panang curry that stopped me in my tracks.

Vital Health at the Booth

I spent most of the weekend working the Vital Health booth alongside Scott, where we ran quantum resonance scans for expo attendees. The scanner uses a finger clip to generate a 120+ page report covering 45 body systems in under five minutes — giving people a detailed, personalized picture of their body's current state without labs or appointments. The feedback was consistently positive: people were genuinely surprised by the specificity and depth of information they received in such a short time.

Scott's Talk: How to Have Healthy Babies and Children

Scott's presentation addressed something most health conferences overlook entirely — the protocols and decisions that shape a child's health from before conception through early life. Here are the key takeaways.

Before pregnancy: Detox first. The placenta is not a filter — whatever is in the mother's body reaches the baby. Focus on nutrient-dense food, clean structured water, clean air, and eliminating household toxins. Infrared sauna can support detoxification. Prioritize healthy fats (Vitamin F): omega-3s from cold water fish, choline from pastured eggs, vitamin D from sunlight. Women trying to conceive should avoid stevia. Men should avoid soy, hops, peppermint, and alcohol — all of which affect hormone balance.

During pregnancy: Stay active, get daily sunlight, and get grounded. Read to your baby in the womb and play classical music — neural development begins long before birth. In the final month, eat six dates per day: research supports their role in improving cervical dilation, reducing labor time, and increasing the probability of a natural birth.

After birth: Delay cord clamping to allow the full transfer of blood and stem cells. Research circumcision thoroughly before making a permanent decision. Have your baby evaluated by a chiropractor specializing in infants and children within the first week of life. Breastfeeding is ideal; goat milk is the closest natural alternative if needed.

Scott covered considerably more ground in his full talk. If you'd like to connect with him directly, reach out at bewellthybrandon@gmail.com.

The Value of Showing Up

One of the things that stood out at Be Healthy Utah: some vendor booths were empty. People had registered, paid, and didn't come. That contrast — between the exhibitors who showed up fully and the empty spaces left behind — was a useful reminder that a large part of success in any domain is simply consistent, intentional presence. What does showing up look like for you every day?

Until next time, Utah.
