Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Academy's clinically focused CME conference on psychedelic medicine, covering pharmacology, therapeutic models, and ethics for clinicians and researchers — in-person in Boston or fully virtual.
The 6th Annual Conference on Psychedelics and Psychedelic Medicine is a clinically focused, academically rigorous examination of the rapidly evolving field of psychedelic medicine, presented by Course Director Franklin King, MD of the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for the Neuroscience of Psychedelics. Sessions cover the pharmacology and neuroscience of classical and atypical psychedelics, therapeutic models including ketamine- and MDMA-assisted therapy, and applications for depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
The two-day program also addresses ethical considerations, historical and cultural context, and the naturalistic and clinical risks of psychedelic use, through expert panels for clinicians and researchers across psychiatry, nursing, social work, and psychology. The conference offers 11.75 CE credits across multiple disciplines.
The 2026 conference runs November 13–14 at the Starr Center at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, with a full virtual attendance option available for those who can't attend in person.
