Join renowned physician and bestselling author Dr. Gabor Maté for an immersive workshop introducing Compassionate Inquiry, the groundbreaking psychotherapeutic method he developed to reveal what lies beneath the surface we present to the world. Presented by TCCHE (The Conference for Consciousness and Human Evolution), the session runs Friday, January 22, 2027 from 11am to 3:30pm at the San Diego Convention Center, with a livestream ticket (including one year of replay access) for those attending online.
Compassionate Inquiry gently uncovers and releases the layers of childhood trauma, constriction and suppressed emotion embedded in the body that sit at the root of illness and addiction. The workshop is both experiential, with participants guided through their own personal process, and an introduction to the training that teaches the method to health professionals, therapists and social workers.
Topics include cultivating presence, bringing attention to body signals in yourself and others, creating and maintaining a safe space between person and therapist, keeping a person engaged in present-moment experience, and decoding the unconscious beliefs that contribute to personal suffering.
