A global gathering in Perth uniting mental health leaders, researchers, and advocates to explore resilience, equity, and culturally responsive integrated support systems.
The Global Mental Health Summit brings together mental health leaders, researchers, clinicians, and advocates from around the world for three days at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia. Hosted by the Multicultural Services Centre WA in partnership with the World Federation for Mental Health and the WA Mental Health Commission, the Summit is centered on the theme "Building Resilience, Equity, and Culturally Responsive Integrated Support Systems."
Sessions will explore the mental health challenges emerging from climate change, conflict and displacement, rapid technological change, and the evolving media landscape, with a focus on systemic inequities and culturally sensitive care for vulnerable populations. The event includes a scientific program with an abstract submission process, alongside a planning committee and host organisations drawn from across the sector.
The Summit welcomes delegates from Australia and internationally working in mental health policy, clinical practice, research, and community advocacy.
