The National Association of Social Workers Wisconsin Chapter's 52nd Annual Conference brings together social workers for three days of education, networking, and advocacy, in-person or via livestream.
The NASW-WI 52nd Annual Conference gathers hundreds of social workers and mental health professionals for three days of general sessions, panels, and workshops focused on continuing education, networking, and best practices in social work. The 2026 conference runs November 4-6 at the Madison Marriott West in Middleton, Wisconsin, with both in-person and virtual attendance options.
Conference highlights include a keynote address from Lee Westgate, MBA, MSW, LCSW-C on building hope through moral courage, and a keynote from Dr. Shanéa Thomas on sustainability, purpose, and joy in accountable social work practice. A town hall meeting will examine the impact of current policies on vulnerable populations, covering immigration, food insecurity, health care, and housing.
The event also includes a reception honoring past and present NASW-WI leadership, with panelists from organizations including ABC for Health and Feeding America Wisconsin joining the discussion.
