A one-day training on the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral effects of traumatic brain injury, for professionals in mental health, addiction treatment, justice, and housing services.
The Professionals' Brain Health Conference, presented by the Brain Injury Association of Arizona, is a one-day training addressing the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral changes experienced after traumatic brain injury. The conference is designed for professionals working in addiction treatment, mental health, justice-involved populations, and housing/food insecurity sectors.
Running from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with registration and networking from 7:30 AM) at the Nina Mason Pulliam Conference Center on the Ability 360 Campus, the training covers the nature of TBI onset, post-injury emotional challenges, cognitive changes, and behavioral interventions. Attendees will leave able to describe TBI onset, explain post-injury emotional challenges, identify cognitive changes, and understand behavioral alterations.
Tickets are $50 per attendee; vendor tables are available for $250, including two company representatives.
