The Society for Acupuncture Research's international conference brings researchers, clinicians, educators and data scientists together to advance whole person health through acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine. In person in Baltimore with online access.
The SAR International Research Conference 2027, "From Needles to Networks," is the Society for Acupuncture Research's preeminent international meeting: a forum for new science, interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based innovation in acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine (TEAM). The 2027 theme is advancing whole person health through mechanistic science, multisystem research and real-world clinical translation.
The conference is built for researchers, clinicians, educators and data scientists, with 300+ expected attendees from 20+ countries over four days of programming. Highlights include keynote addresses, symposia, a junior researcher data blitz and panel, special interest group meetings, networking with exhibitors and an Innovation Tournament that crowdsources clinician input to bridge the research-practice gap. Primary co-sponsors are Virginia University of Integrative Medicine, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
SAR 2027 runs April 29 - May 2, 2027 at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, with hybrid online access available. Registration is open, with early rates through January 15, 2027.
