The Big Retreat is a feel-good festival held every May bank holiday weekend on the Cleddau Estuary in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales. Part retreat, part festival, it offers four days of more than 300 experiences across 12 feel-good areas, led by 120+ presenters, with nearly everything included in the ticket price.
Days can include sunrise yoga over the estuary, gong baths, meditation, breathwork and personal development sessions, fitness classes, running club, wild swimming and paddleboarding, plus a Woodland Spa with hot tubs, sauna and ice baths. The Feel Good Field adds Reiki, life drawing and adults-only workshops on confidence, intimacy and real-life wellbeing, alongside foraging, bushcraft, cookery demos and inspiring talks from experts in wellbeing, adventure, food and nature. Evenings bring live bands, comedy, DJ sets and silent discos.
The festival welcomes solo travellers, couples, friends and families, with a dedicated Solo Travellers group, a Family Time area for kids, and camping options from general and family camping to child-free quiet camping, a live-in vehicle site and a Boutique Glamping Village. It runs from Friday, May 28 (12 PM) to Monday, May 31, 2027 (3 PM) in Lawrenny, Pembrokeshire.
Featured speakers: 120+ presenters across wellbeing, fitness, food and nature — 2027 line-up to be announced.
