A 5th annual behavioral health conference by and for Black women in the mental health and social work field, offering up to 13.5 CE credits (ASWB & NBCC approved), breakout sessions, meals, a Meet & Greet, and a Masquerade Ball at the Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano, TX.
The Uplifting Melanin Queens "Pour Into Yourself" Behavioral Health Conference is a premier gathering created by and for Black women in the mental health and social work professions. Now in its 5th year, this conference offers a space where attendees can show up authentically, connect with peers, earn CE credits, and grow both professionally and personally.
Conference registration includes all sessions (regular and CE), breakout sessions presented by Black women on topics catered to Black women, 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches, a Meet & Greet event, and the Saturday Night Masquerade Ball. Attendees can earn up to 13.5 CE credits approved by ASWB and NBCC.
A special pre-conference workshop will be offered Thursday, July 30 from 1:00–3:00pm: "DSM-5-TR For the Culture: Trauma & Stressor-Related Disorders" by Dr. Patrice N. Douglas, LP, LMFT (2 CEs, $125 additional fee).
The conference is held at the Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano, Texas. Payment plans available through Klarna, Affirm/Stripe, and PayPal. Undergraduate students may register at a reduced rate of $300.
