A transdisciplinary symposium on psychedelic research, education, and policy, hosted by the UW-Madison Center for Psychedelic Research and Education.
The 2026 UW-Madison Psychedelic Symposium, themed "On Your Mark," is a dynamic and transdisciplinary event aimed at expanding awareness, fostering knowledge exchange, and bridging gaps in psychedelic research, education, and policy. The symposium brings together researchers, graduate students, clinicians, and key industry stakeholders.
Sessions cover palliative care and access, psychedelic spirituality and microdosing, research frontiers, and safety and regulation — including differential pharmacology of psychedelics, the role of psychotherapy in psychedelic treatment, and curated adverse event reports from psychedelic programs in Oregon and Colorado. Nationally recognized radio host Steve Paulson moderates multiple panel discussions.
Hosted at the Promega Biopharmaceutical Technology Center in Fitchburg, WI, with a pre-symposium welcome reception on October 28 at the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy.
