Vatican Longevity Summit | May 25-26, 2026 - Rome, Italy
An international summit in Rome bringing together Nobel laureates, scientists, philosophers, and bioethicists to rethink aging, longevity science, and the future of human health through an ethical and humanistic lens.
The Vatican Longevity Summit is a 2-day international event held at the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum in Rome, organized by the International Institute of Neurobioethics (IINBE) under the patronage of the Pontifical Academy for Life. Under the theme "Redesigning the Algorithm of Time," it convenes Nobel laureates, scientists, philosophers, bioethicists, and global leaders to rethink the meaning of aging in the contemporary era.
Sessions span neuroscience and aging, the biology of aging and regeneration, cellular reprogramming, gut microbiota, AI in medicine, and the ethics of longevity — explored at the unique intersection of cutting-edge science and humanistic values. The summit brings a distinctly ethical and philosophical perspective to longevity that sets it apart from other global health conferences.
The event takes place May 25–26, 2026 at the Auditorium Giovanni Paolo II, Via degli Aldobrandeschi 190, Rome.
