World Ayahuasca Forum | Sep 11-13, 2026 - Girona, Spain
An intercultural gathering in Girona, Spain bringing together Indigenous spiritual leaders, researchers, practitioners, and artists for deep dialogue on ayahuasca, ethics, and ancestral knowledge systems.
The World Ayahuasca Forum is organized by ICEERS in response to a call from Indigenous spiritual leaders for genuine intercultural dialogue between ancestral and Western knowledge systems around ayahuasca. Rather than a conventional conference of keynotes and panels, the Forum is built around dialogue circles, storytelling, presentations, and performances across five program halls, with pre-forum events beginning September 9-10.
Programming explores ethics, safety, integration, and the future of ayahuasca through Indigenous leadership, alongside music, dance, visual arts, a market of art and craft, and film screenings — all set in the historic Catalan city of Girona.
The gathering brings together Indigenous leaders, plant cognition researchers, ethnopharmacologists, and cultural voices from across the ayahuasca and psychedelic space.
