TAS 2026 (Together Against Stigma) is a global conference platform focused on reducing mental health stigma and discrimination, marking the first time the conference has been hosted in a low- and middle-income country.
Originally initiated in 1996 by Professor Norman Sartorius during his presidency of the World Psychiatric Association, TAS has grown into a 30-year legacy of international conferences — ten held between 2001 and 2024, drawing nearly 5,000 delegates total. TAS 2026 continues that tradition with curated knowledge tracks, facilitated knowledge exchange, and a focus on translating anti-stigma research into real-world interventions.
The conference takes place November 12-14, 2026 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India.
