The International Childbirth Education Association's 2026 conference, ELEVATE: Raising the Standard, bringing childbirth educators, doulas, and birth professionals together for three days of continuing education in Salt Lake City.
ICEA 2026 ELEVATE: Raising the Standard is the International Childbirth Education Association's return to an in-person conference, championing choice-based healthcare and informed decision-making throughout the birthing journey. The event centers on ICEA's "Circle of Care" concept — the idea that every family builds the support system that works best for them.
The three-day program is designed for ICEA-certified professionals, curious minds in women's health, and healthcare enthusiasts alike, with sessions spanning childbirth educator teaching techniques and meaningful collaboration across the birth "circle" (for example, hospital staff and doulas working together). ICEA anticipates offering at least 24 continuing education credits, primarily through live in-person sessions.
The conference runs October 16–18, 2026 at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, and includes a Meet and Greet Reception and conference breaks for networking among certified professionals, exhibitors, and sponsors.
